A couple of years on whilst watching the carnage caused by local novice and tourist surfers alike at our local break of Snapper Rocks, (none of whom clearly had any idea on surfing ettiquite) Beach Bum realised that something had to be done that wasn't already by mainstream Surf Schools. Beach Bum Surfaris was born with the sole aim of giving beginners to the sport much more than they were getting and that incorporated not just showing "would be surfers" how to stand up and then sending them to a shark feeding frenzy, but actually absorbing them in the culture and educating them in the surfing "Law of the Jungle" so to speak once outside the safety of the Surf School Zone that includes a bonus free surfing ettiquite brochure for every student to take away.
