The message is to create awareness of the beach and surf amenity, raise money for charity such as Surfrider Foundation, Kirra Surf Club and the Kirra Surfriders, celebrate the surfing culture and put some fun back in the Southern end of the Gold Coast Kirra Surfstock has a strong sense of community, it is a family friendly event, encourages sustainable living habits and increases visitation to the Southern Gold Coast, especially Kirra.
